Enduroman have found the perfect location to host the Festival of Triathlon Lanzarote. A place to break away from the long winter nights and to compete alongside the worlds best Ultra Triathletes "creating a festival atmosphere never to be forgotten". Playa Blanca in the Municipo of Yaiza is situated in the south of Lanzarote on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean and has everything that a triathlete and the family needs. Enduroman are proud to announce Lanzarote's 1st Festival of Triathlon incorporating Double Enduroman, Enduroman, Half Enduroman and Olympic Enduroman.
The Double Enduroman Lanzarote is an IUTA sanctioned World Cup Series race and is the first of three Double distance ultra triathlons in the 2011 Enduroman race calendar. On the 12th December, Enduroman's Eddie Ette signed a contract with the President of Lanzarote to secure the festival for 2011 and beyond.
Enduroman are delighted to announce that the winner of the 2010 Triple Enduroman UK and second place athlete at the 2009 Double Enduroman UK Paul Thomson will be on the start line at the Double Ultra in Lanzarote. Paul will be joined joined by elite triathlete and Lanzarote champion Gregorio Caseres Morales, who finished 11th this year at Ironman Lanzarote.
